Quote: I would like to know why EVE makes gameplay constantly harder for people not interested in PvP and easier for the "Dog in the Mangerö aspect of Alliances hording space, they cannot possibly mine it all themselves. I''m in a corp that likes to mine and manufacture, we can no longer effectively mine as rarer ores are found only in 0.0 space and are very hard to get to without some Alliance member saying: "why are you here, you are not allowed to be here" etc..... even though there is more than enough ore to go round in these regions. What confounds the issue is that to make it easier for Alliances/Pirates to gather their ore, EVE created stations for them ( which can only be taken and kept by big corps ), which now makes it pointless to even bother mining with secures and hauling 35 jumps to the nearest station, this is economical suicide due to the time involved. This effectively rules out mining and manufacturing for small corps.... unless they hit the BP jackpot and can survive by selling copies. Now: The advent of Anchorable Warp Disruptors...... as if it isn''t hard enough getting in and out of 0.0 space as it is, now it will be made a mute point, so much for spending 3 weeks making a superb set of bookmarks in order to get there and mine just enough to stay bankruptcy! I have several members in the corp who are going to quit playing because EVE seems to make no effort in accommodating the small corp or individual through game play.... The missions are boring and bring in a pittance, hunting roid rates is equally boring and nothing special is ever gained ( positive rating donÆt mean a thing anymore, yes yes maybe in the next patch in 6 months, etc etcà ), and when we suddenly get wind of new Level 4 agents, ôall excitedö as if addicts waiting their next fix..... guess what: you have to be in a group to even bother attempting them and all you get is double rewrd to split 3 or 4 ways, it''s almost as if EVE is trying to promote some sort of hive mentality! Alliance good, Freelancer or Small Corp bad ( 4 legs good; 2 legs bad etc... for those of us who have a little education ). On the EVE Game box it says: "go it alone and share the glory with no one..." This game never seemed to be marketed with the intention of being for the only for the Alliance type player, there should be a path to wealth or glory or whatever, for the single player or small group. If you do not understand what I''m talking about, there is no point in carrying on either as it''s doomed, and all those who are never going to want to be a number in a huge corp might as well quit, because you have already paid so much money every month: Turn pirate and take out your fustration on other new players who will soon find enlightenment along the same lines.......... honestly people play game for different reasons, there is no one way or right way, but at least let there be another way to enjoy this game, it has such potential ( that is unfortunately being smothered at the moment). Anyway, if enough people say something, noting that we are paying customers and deserve to be heard, then maybe these thoughts will be considered, even those that haven''t been mentioned here yet. Thanks for your time:)
